understanding a poem…

“when it comes to understanding a poem, for me it is not so much the words as it is the purpose delivered; the words are simply the edifice, the encapsulation of something much deeper than language, at the core of every poem is something more imposingly beautiful. Many miss the true beauty of a rose, seen only after it has bloomed; the true beauty is in the struggle it surpasses to shine before heaven, and there rest the beauty of its existence.”
